Holiday home “Mali Raj” is a family house designed to accommodate eight peopleIt is located on the eastern edge of Gorski kotar, the green heart of Croatia, in the small village of Oštarije, approximately halfway between Ogulin and Josipdol.
Escaping from everyday stress and the hustle and bustle of the city into relaxing nature is a great way to renew your life energy at any time of the year.

Holiday home “Mali Raj”  is located at the end of the village surrounded by relaxing nature with the possibility for walks in the woods near the house.

You want to visit historical sites like the Marmont Bridge, see a Gothic church, discover where the elephant and rhino teeth were found and where the olm still lives today? Or enjoy walks in beautiful nature next to Lake Sabljaci, maybe hiking?

And of course, after all of that, to return to a comfortable accommodation where after swimming in the pool, barbecue on the terrace and playing billiards you will find a rest for body and soul in the home wellness – with hydromassage and Finnish sauna?

About the place

The beautiful artificial lake Sabljaci is a real pearl of the whole region, and because of its size it is called the “Ogulin Sea”. During the summer, the lake hosts the “Lake Games”, various water sports such as rowing, sailing, swimming and diving, sport fishing throughout the year, and provides unlimited opportunities for recreation throughout the year, as well as pleasant walks and cycling.

Renaissance castle from the 16th century. above the abyss of the river Dobra – Đula’s abyss. The founder of the city was Bernardin Frankopan, one of the most powerful nobles of his time and feudal lords of the whole region. Today, there is the Homeland Museum with several collections such as archeological, ethnographic, old weapons, the memorial room of Ivana Brlić-Mažuranić, the permanent exhibition of the academic painter Stjepan Galetić.
